The distance from the surface of the leading edge pins to the edge of the
receiver, in mm. In other words, this is the number of millimetres between the
leading edge of the carrier sheet and where you want the lower edge of the
receiver to go. Thus, this is the amount the leading edge position of the
receiver is shifted compared to a normal plate.
